Dawn Pankonien has a master’s degree in anthropology from Northwestern University and fifteen years of experience teaching research, writing, and political economy courses at colleges and universities in the United States. In Mexico City, she taught English to financiers, energy administrators, entrepreneurs, and other business leaders, and before that she designed and led language courses for children, ages 3-8.
Dawn has ghostwritten hundreds of blogs for businesses and edited nine books—two award winning—in the past nine years. She has written book and funding proposals, including budgets, for dozens of peers and clients as well as for her own research in the social sciences, and she was funded twice by the National Science Foundation while in graduate school.
Nico Merkin is an audiovisual producer and post producer fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish. He has edited three documentary films and dozens of television episodes for Fox Sports, Nickelodeon, TV Azteca, Televisa, and Canal (á), among others. Clients and former clients for whom he has produced social media-based content include: Corona / World Surf League, World Rally Mexico, major mezcal and wine labels, and former roommates with big orange cats.
